Mary Catherine Barrett

Mary Catherine Barrett is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in sports content management and public relations. Currently serving as the Senior Content Manager for the Women's National Team at U.S. Soccer Federation since March 2020, Barrett previously held the position of Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at UC Berkeley, where responsibilities included managing public relations for multiple athletic teams and enhancing brand communication strategies. Prior roles included working as a Senior Researcher at ESPN, focusing on Women's College Basketball and soccer coverage, as well as experience in athletic communications at Brown University and internships in communications for the Boston Breakers. Barrett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brown University, obtained in 2014.
