Malkit Rai

Malkit Rai has a strong background in quality assurance and management. They are currently serving as the Head of Quality Assurance at United Surgical, where they oversee the organization's compliance with ISO standards and regulatory audits. Prior to this, Malkit Rai worked as a Senior Manager of Quality Assurance at Taratec, where they provided leadership to the QA team and implemented systems to meet new regulations and customer requirements. They also have experience as a Quality Assurance Manager at Teleflex Incorporated, ensuring the adherence to quality systems and customer satisfaction. Malkit Rai began their career as a Senior Engineer in QA/QC at JREW Engineering Limited, where they developed gauges, conducted training sessions, and provided quality control support.

Malkit Rai obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from William Carey University in Shillong, India, from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Sai Polytechnic in Badhani, Pathankot, Punjab, from 1999 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Malkit Rai has obtained various certifications, including AATCC & ASTM Testing from the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists in December 2021. MALKIT also holds certifications in Internal Auditor ISO 50001, ZED Consultant, Internal Auditor ISO 13485:2016, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Management, Six Sigma Green Belt, OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor - Health & Safety Certification, Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Lead Auditor ISO 13485:2003, and Internal Auditor ISO 9001:2008 from different institutions from 2013 to 2017.
