Paul Yoo

Paul Yoo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Paul currently holds the position of SVP Ventures & Private Equity at United Talent Agency. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Cambridge Negotiation Institute. From 2019 to 2022, Paul worked as a Partner at Actionist Consulting, where they specialized in assisting clients with strategy, growth, M&A, digital, innovation, and due diligence, with a focus on CPG and retail.

Before joining Actionist Consulting, Paul served as the CEO of This Saves Lives from 2017 to 2019. During this time, they implemented a philanthropic initiative that provided life-saving food aid to children in need. Paul also held the position of Head of Business Development at The Honest Company from 2015 to 2016.

Paul began their career as a Strategy Consultant - Senior Manager at McKinsey & Company from 2011 to 2015, where they provided management insight to leading organizations across various sectors. Paul gained experience in areas such as cybersecurity, crisis response, media, utilities, health providers, insurance, travel, and consumer goods. Prior to McKinsey, they worked as an Attorney at White & Case, specializing in energy infrastructure project asset finance and international arbitration. Paul also briefly served as a Counterterrorism Attorney at the Department of Justice in 2009.

Paul Yoo has a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Harvard Law School, where they studied Law. Paul also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Stanford University, where they focused on Political Science, specifically Honors in International Security. Additionally, they are a member of the California Bar Association, certified by the California State Bar.
