Kevin Ortega

Kevin Ortega is an experienced professional in the field of control systems and engineering, currently serving as an Associate Control Systems Programmer at United Water Conservation District since February 2021. In this role, Kevin is responsible for inspecting, testing, and programming preventative maintenance tasks on electrical and instrumentation equipment, as well as SCADA process controls. Prior to this, Kevin co-founded AZ Technological Laboratories, Inc., where expertise included developing control schematics and managing engineering projects related to an autonomous ball launching apparatus. Kevin also worked as a Student Researcher at the University of California, Riverside, focusing on the reliability of solar SCADA systems, and as an Embedded Systems Intern at Signature Equipovision LLC, contributing to the development of a touch-based POS system. Kevin holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Riverside.
