Darienne Driver Hudson has experience as a Superintendent and Chief Innovation Officer at Milwaukee Public Schools from 2012 to 2018. Darienne is currently serving as the President & CEO of United Way for Southeastern Michigan, starting in July 2018.
Darienne Driver Hudson holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, which they obtained from 2005 to 2014. Darienne also holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Education, Policy and Management from the same institution, earned between 2005 and 2006. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Curriculum Development at the University of Michigan from 2000 to 2001. Darienne Driver Hudson earned their Bachelor's degree in Child Development from Spelman College from 1996 to 2000. Additionally, they obtained a certification from the ASU GSV Summit in 2020.
