Joseph Cureton

Joseph Cureton is an experienced finance professional with a focus on accounts payable and receivable functions. Currently serving as an Accounts Receivable Accountant 1 at United Way for Southeastern Michigan since March 2021, Joseph has also held roles as Accounts Payable Specialist and Accounts Payable Associate within the organization. Prior to this, Joseph worked as an Accounts Payable Specialist at Brines Refrigeration and as an Accounts Payable Clerk at Big Georges Home Appliance Mart, where responsibilities included managing all payables connected to merchandise and ensuring timely payments. Joseph began a career in finance as a Summer Intern at IAC Group, gaining experience in procurement and financial data analysis. Joseph holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Leadership from Cleary University and has also attended Michigan State University and Saginaw Valley State University for business studies.
