Emma Blake

Emma Blake, CMP, is an experienced event management professional with a diverse background in strategic event planning and coordination. Currently serving as Strategic Events Manager at United Way of Calgary and Area since October 2021, Emma has held key roles including Events & Sponsorship Specialist at Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association and Events Manager at Calgary Chamber of Commerce. Emma's experience also includes instructing Corporate Event Planning at the University of Calgary Continuing Education and managing events for the Society of Petroleum Engineers. Emma founded Elements Modern Weddings, where Emma served as Owner & Principal Event Planner, and coordinated events for TED Conferences at Procreation Design Works. Emma holds an Extension Certificate in Marketing and Strategic Communications from Mount Royal University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film/Video Production from Simon Fraser University.
