Kelly L. Carlton

Kelly Carlton has extensive experience in financial management and operations, currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at United Way of Central Alabama since July 1991. Previously, Kelly held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer within the same organization. Prior to that, an audit career included roles as Audit Partner at Cade LaRocca and Associates, where responsibilities centered on highly profitable closely held companies, government audits, and manufacturing. Additionally, a position as Senior Audit Manager was held at Lovoy Sumerville and Associates, overseeing multi-state closely held corporations and government businesses. Kelly began the accounting career as a Staff Accountant at KPMG. Kelly holds a degree in Business with a focus on Accounting from Samford University, earned between 1979 and 1983.
