Gary Thompson

Gary Thompson is a Project Specialist at the United Way of Central Indiana since August 2023. Previously, Gary served as the Broadband and Digital Inclusion Specialist and collaborated with regional partners at the East Central Indiana Regional Planning District from August 2021 to August 2023. During this time, Gary contributed to enhancing broadband technologies and digital literacy initiatives. Gary was also a Digital Inclusion Fellow with the Purdue Center for Regional Development and an AmeriCorps Member with Lead For America, participating in the American Connection Corps initiative. Earlier experiences include roles as a Food Access Fellow at Mother Hubbards Cupboard Inc. and as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Gary holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and Public Policy, with a minor in History, from Indiana University Bloomington, completed in 2021.
