Emily Nasatir's work experience includes several roles in various organizations. Emily currently holds the position of Associate Vice President of Corporate Relationships at United Way of Metro Chicago, which they started in September 2023. Previously, they worked as a Senior Engagement Lead at August Jackson from January 2023 to May 2023. Prior to that, they were the Philanthropic Relationship Officer and Director of Development at Americans for Ben-Gurion University from April 2021 to January 2023. Emily also served as a Senior Associate Director of Major Gifts at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from April 2017 to September 2020. Before that, they worked at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago as an Individual Giving Officer and later as a Senior Development Officer from April 2012 to June 2016 and from April 2012 to April 2015, respectively. Additionally, Emily had roles at the American Jewish Committee as an Assistant Director of Development from August 2010 to March 2012, and at the Anti-Defamation League as an Assistant Director from February 2005 to August 2010.
Emily Nasatir earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Indiana University Bloomington from 2000 to 2004. Emily then pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Social Policy and Evaluation, Community Organizing from the University of Michigan from 2005 to 2006. Later, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from National Louis University from 2012 to 2016.
