Andrew Konkel has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Andrew is currently the Vice President of Resource Development at the United Way of the Coastal Empire. Prior to this, they worked at the United Way Fox Cities, where they held positions such as Resource Development Director and Senior Resource Development Officer. In these roles, they led a team responsible for raising millions of dollars through annual campaigns and developed relationships with corporate accounts. Andrew also has experience as a CLTS Case Manager at Waupaca County DHHS and as an Assistant Director of Human Development at CAP Services Inc., where they managed programs and budgets and secured grants. Andrew has also worked as a Supports Coordinator at Clarity Care and as a Program Coordinator at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley. Andrew'searliest work experience was as a 2nd-grade teacher at Ashwaubenon School District, where they collaborated with staff and parents to create an optimal learning environment.

Andrew Konkel completed their undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire from 1993 to 2000, earning a bachelor's degree in Elementary & Special Education. In addition to their formal degree, they obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2009, they became a certified Family Development Specialist through the University of Iowa. In 2010, they received a Crucial Conversations certification from Wipfli. Moving forward, in 2012, Andrew obtained a Nurturing Parenting Program certification. The following year, they earned a Predictive Index Management certification from Wipfli. Lastly, in 2015, they completed a Results Oriented Management Accountability (ROMA) certification through the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families (DCF).
