Deena Curtis

Deena Curtis currently serves as the JAG Program Manager at the United Way of the Midlands since May 2023, after holding various roles at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lincoln/Lancaster County, including Vice President Of Programming and Program Director. Previously, Deena worked at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln as a Senior Counselor in Diversity and Community Outreach and held multiple counselor positions. Deena’s career also includes experience as an Athletic Trainer at Platteview High School and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, where Deena was the Head Athletic Trainer. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Science in Athletic Administration from Wayne State College, along with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the same institution.
