Naette Yoko Lee

Naette Yoko Lee (Kirilova), Ph.D., currently serves as the Senior Manager of Content and Engagement at United Way, a position held since May 2023. Previously, Naette held multiple roles in communication and education, including Communications Manager for Content and Storytelling at United Way and an Instructor at the University of Maryland from August 2017 to August 2022. Naette's diverse experience spans roles in different organizations, such as Interim Communications Lead at the Ministry of Finance and Graduate Assistant for Research and Diversity Programming at Villanova University. Naette's career also includes positions as a Corporate Communications Strategist and Senior Copywriter at Lonsdale Saatchi & Saatchi, Speechwriter at the Ministry of Energy & Energy Industries, and various roles in journalism and public relations. Naette earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Rhetoric and Political Culture from the University of Maryland and holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication from Villanova University, alongside other academic credentials in cultural studies and history.
