Josh Knapp

Josh Knapp has a diverse work experience in various industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Help Desk Analyst for Foremost Insurance Company and later transitioned to a Business Banking Treasury Management Officer role at PNC. In 2008, Josh ventured into entrepreneurship by starting their own gaming center called Virtual Velocity Gaming Center. Josh then pursued their interest in cybersecurity, becoming a student of Information Systems Security at American Military University. Josh also worked as an Intern at CTC/US Department of State and as an Intermediate Service Desk Technician at Jacobs Engineering. Josh joined CDW as an InfoSec Consultant before moving on to Digital Guardian, where they worked as a Cyber Security Managed Services Analyst. Currently, Josh is employed at United Wholesale Mortgage as a Senior SOC Analyst and a Team Lead Information Security. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in information security, managed services, consulting, and customer service.

Josh Knapp obtained a Bachelor's degree in Theological and Ministerial Studies from Purpose Institute, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelors of Science in Information Systems Security from American Military University between 2010 and 2014. Additionally, they pursued studies in Network Security at Davenport University and Network Design and Management at Western Governors University, although the specific durations for these programs are not provided.
