Matt Bonny

Matt Bonny is an accomplished actuarial professional with extensive experience in the healthcare insurance sector. Currently serving as Associate Director, Actuary at UnitedHealth Group since May 2022, Matt specializes in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data to guide commercial group premium rate development and has developed automation tools in SAS, SQL, and Excel. Prior to this role, Matt contributed significantly to Humana as both an Associate Actuary overseeing the Part D plan liability model and as a Senior Actuarial Analyst, where work included trend analysis and predictive modeling. Earlier career experiences include military service as a Sergeant in The Kentucky National Guard and acting as an Actuarial Analyst at Mercer, focusing on data reconciliation and liability analysis. Matt holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Eastern Kentucky University, earned between 2011 and 2015.
