Cecilia Nguyen

Cecilia Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Cecilia started their career as an English Tutor at Meiji Gakuin University and Kanto Gakuin University in 2015. Cecilia then worked as a Respite Worker and Childcare Facilitator at United Cerebral Palsy, where they collaborated with families and provided transportation and socialization services to children.

In 2019, Cecilia joined SenseAbilities Therapy Group as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, where they troubleshooted and guided users during difficulties with online services. Cecilia also provided one-on-one support to pediatric clients and tracked scheduling fall offs.

Starting in 2022, Cecilia held the role of Speech-Language Pathology Assistant at Progress Speech & Language, where they guided users and families in using the CentralReach interface and conducted online sessions on Zoom. Cecilia also communicated and coordinated with other users through Microsoft Teams.

In the same year, Cecilia also worked at ADVANTES SPEECH THERAPY SERVICES, INC. as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. In this role, they collaborated between children, guardians, and professionals to implement communication improvement tasks at home. Cecilia also provided training and techniques for de-escalating behaviors to parents, and planned and implemented therapy for patients with language impairments.

Prior to their current role, Cecilia participated in the Talent Stacker | Salesforce Career Development Program as a Salesforce Professional, where they supported and collaborated with a team in learning and practicing Salesforce and its ecosystem. Cecilia also attended professional development workshops related to Salesforce analysis topics.

The most recent entry in Cecilia's work experience is as a Fundraising Data and Salesforce Volunteer at the American Red Cross. In this role, they supported the Regional Development/Fundraising department by completing monthly listings and updating Salesforce accounts with yearly memberships. Cecilia also assisted Relationship Managers in maintaining accurate information in the system.

Cecilia is currently working as a Human Resources Assistant at Unitek Learning, where they assist and supports the recruiting team in developing and implementing recruitment objectives, policies, and standards. Cecilia collaborates with HR staff in developing and implementing recruiting policies and strategies, and identifies and implements new selection and recruitment methods and techniques.

Cecilia Nguyen studied Linguistics and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of California, Riverside.
