Kyejung Yang

Kyejung Yang has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries.

From 2018 to the present, they have been working at Unitek Learning, starting as a Faculty Development Specialist where they designed web-based learning activities, developed training materials, and determined training needs for faculty across academic programs. Kyejung then advanced to the position of Manager, Faculty Development, overseeing training programs, scheduling sessions, and training team members. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Faculty Development and Training.

In 2018, Kyejung worked at Apple via Welocalize as a Linguistic Modeller, where they tested and corrected errors in natural language utterances for AI systems. Kyejung also created grammar rules and provided language data, as well as collaborated with engineers to optimize machine learning models.

From 2007 to 2017, Kyejung served as an Adjunct Professor at De Anza College, achieving a high pass rate for student learning outcomes. Kyejung developed course contents in various online learning management systems, designed assessment tools, and facilitated online and offline discussions. Kyejung also managed student group projects and collected feedback through surveys.
