Prior to this, Gerrit worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Exxaro Resources, where Gerrit gained experience in project management, mechanical engineering, and commissioning. Gerrit is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Data Science.
