Nate Haney

A Paintsville, KY native, Nate Haney’s entrepreneurial spirit is well-known across the state, cementing his leadership role within the Commonwealth’s political and business communities over the past decade.

As SVP, Global Affairs & Commercial Operations, Nate oversees all external affairs including marketing, government, and media relations. Additionally, Nate leads the Commercial Strategy team as Unity gears up to be a major player in the metals industry.

From his beginnings practicing state and federal administrative law at the Sullivan Law Office to now, Nate has established himself over time as a logistical entrepreneur and expert in business policy. In addition to his role as Senior Vice President of Global Affairs and Commercial Operations for Unity Aluminum, Nate remains a member of Haney and White Enterprise, a holding company for several transportation and logistics ventures.

Nate served a stint as Deputy Secretary of the Governor’s Cabinet for Kentucky, where he spearheaded two of the Governor’s flagship initiatives, including the Red-Tape Reduction initiative and Criminal Justice Reform initiative, to national acclaim and recognition.

Nate holds a J.D., Law from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, and a Master of Business Administration from Bellarmine University.
