Eric Cunningham

Eric Cunningham has over 30 years of work experience, with a focus on software engineering, automation, and management roles. Eric is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at UnitySC since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Industrial Software Engineer/Manager at BeAM Machines from June 2016 to March 2021. Eric also served as an Automation/Software Development Engineer and Manager at Fogale nanotech from May 2012 to June 2016. Before that, they worked as a Software R&D/Automation Engineer and Manager at SETsaz from 2008 to 2012. Eric has also worked as an Automation Engineering Consultant at QUADRA, a Part-time Technical Translator at Coup de Puce Expansion, a Software Analyst/Development Consultant at RECIF SA, a Consultant Automation Engineer at Intel Corporation, and a System Programmer Analyst at Kindle Systems Ltd.

Eric Cunningham began their education at Blackrock College in Dublin, where they received a Leaving Certificate in 1985. Eric then went on to pursue a Higher Diploma in Computer Science from the Dublin Institute of Technology Kevin St., completing it in 1988. In 1991, they attended the Foreign Language Institute in Dublin, where they obtained a qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). In 1999, Eric undertook a training program at Valtech Training in Toulouse, focusing on UML, Extreme, and Agile Programming methodologies. In 2005-2006, they attended the Coup de Puce Expansion in Toulouse, where they completed an ATC course in document translation methods and standards. Most recently, in 2018, they engaged in further education at Siemens, specializing in automation.
