James Peterson

James Peterson has an extensive work experience, starting in 1984 with roles in sales, marketing, and product management in the plastics manufacturing industry. James worked for Transparent Products/Cadillac Plastics until 1989. From 1989 to 1999, they served as the General Manager of the Furon Company at Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, managing a multi-location pharmaceutical manufacturing business. James then worked as the VP & General Manager at OK International from 1999 to 2001, overseeing operations of the Techcon Fluid Dispensing and Semtronics business units. James founded their own company, Peterson Construction Inc., in 2002 and served as the Principal and Owner until 2012. From 2012 to 2019, they held various roles at Nexeo Solutions, including District Manager and Business Director in the Personal Care and Chemical Manufacturing divisions. Since 2019, James has been working at Univar Solutions, first as the Business Director of Pharmaceutical Ingredients and later as the Vice President of Global Pharmaceutical Ingredients. James currently holds the role of VP Global Beauty & Personal Care at Univar Solutions.

James Peterson received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Plastics Industrial Technology from Western Washington University. James later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pepperdine University. In 2013, they completed a certificate course on Skin Care Ingredients for Cosmetics Professionals at UCLA.
