Yin Liu

Yin Liu has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They started their career at McMaster University as a Teaching Assistant from 1993 to 1998. In 1998, they joined IBM Canada as a Software Developer and Support for DB2 Server for VSE & VM. They worked on design, development, testing, and support of the product, and also managed Beta and National Language Support programs. In 2005, Yin Liu became a Software Developer, DB2 LUW at IBM Canada. They developed new features and tools in different DB2 releases and worked on DB2 installation, configuration, and licensing management. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Software Developer and L3 support for Business Process Management (BPM) at IBM Canada. In this role, they provided L3 support to global customers for BPM BusinessSpace and Coach, developed new features, and participated in multiple releases. In 2015, they joined UNIVERIS as a Software Engineer.

Yin Liu has a Master's degree in Computer Science, specifically an M.Sc. in Computer Science from McMaster University. Yin obtained this degree from the Department of Computer Science and Systems between the years 1996 and 1998. Prior to their Master's degree, Yin Liu completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Statistics with a Minor in Economics at McMaster University from 1992 to 1996. Yin earned their high school degree from Westdale Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario.
