Michael Cuddy

Michael Cuddy is an accomplished audio engineer and software quality assurance professional with extensive experience in the audio industry. Currently serving as a Software QA Engineer II at Universal Audio since December 2018, Michael plays a key role in the award-winning LUNA Recording System SQA team. With a career beginning in 1990 as a radio broadcast engineer, Michael has evolved into a prominent independent audio engineer, collaborating with notable artists including TOOL and the Doobie Brothers. Previous roles include Technical Marketing and Artist Relations at McDSP, where Michael contributed to a Technical Emmy-winning project, and Project Manager at Granicus, overseeing cloud-based meeting services. Michael also has a background in media production with LinkedIn and significant experience at Avid Technology/Digidesign, where responsibilities ranged from managing studio operations to technical support instruction. Michael earned a BA in Music-Recording Arts from California State University, Chico.
