Manoja Eswara

Senior Scientist- Core Technologies at Universal Cells

Manoja Eswara is a highly experienced senior scientist with expertise in cell and gene therapy, currently serving as a Senior Scientist in Core Technologies at Universal Cells since November 2024. Previously, Manoja held the position of Senior Development Manager at CCRM from December 2017 to November 2024, overseeing fee-for-service contract services and specializing in iPSC gene editing and immunotherapy. Manoja has a strong background in project management, having designed and led various gene editing and iPSC-derived cell therapy projects. Prior roles include postdoctoral fellow at the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, freelance writing and editing, and teaching assistantship at the University of Guelph. Manoja holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Guelph and an MSc in Biotechnology from Andhra University.
