Cassio Souza Barros

Cassio Souza Barros has extensive experience in the chemical and healthcare industries, currently serving as the Owner of Universal Chemical since November 2001. Prior to this role, Cassio was the Business Development Director at Baxter Healthcare from January 1998 to November 2001 and held the position of Franchise Director at Johnson & Johnson from October 1989 to November 1997. Cassio's career began at Unilever as an R&D Manager from January 1986 to October 1989. Educationally, Cassio earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas between 1996 and 1997, completed a Master's degree in Chemistry at USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 1983 to 1985, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry from USP from 1979 to 1983.
