John Lucker

John Lucker has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and industries. John started their career in 1986 as a Systems Officer and Project Manager at Northern Trust, where they were responsible for planning and project management for personal trust investment systems development. John then worked as the Director of Administrative Data Systems at Trinity College, where they managed all areas of business and administrative computing.

Afterwards, Lucker joined Shawmut National Corporation as an Assistant Vice President and Systems Manager, where they served as an architect and project manager for an Executive Information System and led a technology overhaul project for the bank's legal department. John then worked at Aetna Life & Casualty as a Business/Audit Consultant, performing operational and security/control reviews and implementing strategic sourcing strategies.

Lucker transitioned to CIGNA - CIGNA Reinsurance, serving as a Controller and later as the Chief Technology Officer and Business Systems Architect. In these roles, they performed various financial and technology responsibilities, including developing and implementing new business systems.

In 2000, Lucker joined Deloitte as a Principal and Global Advanced Analytics Market Leader, where they worked for 20 years in various roles. John was known for their high-end strategy, thought leadership, and client service in the insurance industry. During this time, they also joined data.world, Inc. as a Senior Strategic and Executive Advisor, focusing on data management and governance innovations for the insurance industry.

In recent years, Lucker has held executive positions at insurance companies, including Universal Fire & Casualty Insurance Company as the Executive Vice President - Chief Strategy Officer, and Universal Shield Insurance Group as the Executive Vice President. John is also a member of the Board of Directors at Confianza.

Additionally, Lucker has been actively involved in advisory roles, including serving as a member of the State of Connecticut - Department of Insurance - Advisory Council on Technology and its Consumer Data Subcommittee.

John Lucker has an MBA in Marketing, Computers & Information Systems from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School. John also holds a BA in Biology, graduating cum laude, from the University of Rochester. Additionally, they obtained a diploma from Dwight-Englewood School. Furthermore, they are certified as a Certified Information Systems Auditor by the Information Systems Audit & Control Association since 1996.
