Gerald Lopez de Choudens

Gerald Lopez De Choudens is an experienced technology executive with a career spanning over three decades in the information technology sector. Currently serving as CIO at Universal Insurance Group since August 2014, Gerald has been pivotal in leading the Core Systems Transformation project involving the Guidewire Suite. Prior to this role, Gerald was CIO at Ashford Presbyterian Community Hospital, where responsibilities included developing a three-year Strategic IT Master Plan. Additionally, as VP of Information Technology at Medical Card Systems Inc., Gerald oversaw IT strategy and operations, contributing to a comprehensive IT master plan. Earlier roles include Manager of IT at Triple S and EDP Auditor at Banco Central Corp. Gerald holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems from the University of Puerto Rico.
