Cathy Shell

Cathy Shell is a highly experienced healthcare professional currently serving as a Nurse Practitioner at Universal Health Corporation since October 2022. Previously, Cathy worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Family Practice from June 2021 to October 2022 and held multiple roles, including Registered Nurse and Infection Control Nurse at Valley Health from December 2008 to May 2021. Additional nursing experience includes a tenure at National Lutheran Communities & Services and a brief role as a Care Coordinator at UnitedHealth Group. Cathy is advancing education with a Doctor of Nursing Practice at Liberty University and is pursuing a Doctor of Nursing at Capella University, following a Master’s degree in Adult Gerontological Nurse Practitioner from Spring Arbor University and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from James Madison University. An earlier Associate’s degree in Registered Nursing was obtained at Laurel Ridge Community College.
