Aidan O'Gorman

Aidan O'Gorman has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2015, they served as the Social Media Marketing Manager for the REV Residence Council. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as the Systems Safety Lead Engineer for the University of Waterloo Alternative Fuels Team (UWAFT). During this same time period, they also served as the Co-President of the UW Energy Network, the Marketing Associate for Healthypets.io, and the Branding and Back-End Design Associate for DeepSubconscious.ai Inc. In 2018, they were a Junior Controls Designer for Zeton and in 2019, they worked as a Hybrid Energy Systems Research Assistant for Natural Resources Canada. Finally, in 2020, they were a Renewable and Electrical Energy Policy Analyst for Natural Resources Canada and in 2022, they will be a Product Engineering Technician for Universal Matter Inc.

Aidan O'Gorman has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science, Honours Science and Business - Unspecialized in Chemistry from the University of Waterloo from 2015 to 2016. Aidan has also obtained certifications from various institutions such as LinkedIn, Petroleum Engineers Association, and Lynda.com, including Becoming a Six Sigma Green Belt, Process Plant Start-up, Commissioning & Troubleshooting, Become a Project Manager, Up and Running with MATLAB, Up and Running with VBA in Excel, and Foundations of Programming: Fundamentals.
