Alisa Lai has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and companies. Alisa began their career as a Graduate Solicitor at Watson Mangioni in 2003. Alisa then moved on to work as an Account Manager and later as a Senior Account Manager at ACP Magazines/Network Services from 2004 to 2007. Alisa then joined MRM Worldwide/McCann Erikson as a Senior Account Manager, primarily serving clients such as Microsoft Australia, AAPT, Cathay Pacific, and CSR Bradford. From 2009 to 2010, they took on the role of Senior Account Manager at M&C Saatchi/Mark.
In 2011, Alisa joined Universal Music Asia Pacific, where they worked as a Digital Sales Manager until 2014 and later became the Digital Strategy Director until 2015. Alisa then joined Splendid Suggestions as a Digital Strategist from 2015 to 2016. Alisa returned to Universal Music Australia in 2016 and held various roles, including Digital Strategy Manager, Head of Commercial Growth and Innovation, and currently serves as the Vice President, Commercial.
Throughout their career, Alisa has demonstrated expertise in digital strategies, commercial growth, and innovation. Alisa has a track record of maintaining and growing commercial relationships, identifying and exploiting video content opportunities, and maximizing audience and revenue for artists across various platforms.
Alisa Lai attended the University of Sydney from 1998 to 2002, where they pursued a degree in Marketing, Finance, and Law (LLB/B.Com). Prior to that, they studied at Kambala Church of England from 1992 to 1997. Later, in 2003, they furthered their education at the College of Law, focusing on Practical Legal Training.
