Boyd Muir

Boyd Muir is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in the music industry and accounting. Since February 1994, Boyd has served as the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and President of Operations at Universal Music Group. Prior to this role, Boyd was the Head of Audit at EMI from January 1991 to February 1994 and worked as a Group Manager at Ernst & Young from September 1981 to December 1991. Boyd holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Glasgow, completed in 1981, and attended Kelvinside Academy from 1968 to 1977.
