Manager Of Ethnographic Research at Universal Destinations & Experiences

Mary-Caitlyn V. currently serves as the Manager of Ethnographic Research at Universal Parks & Resorts since August 2022. Prior to this role, Mary-Caitlyn worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Appalachian State University from August 2019 to August 2022 and held a Dissertation Fellowship with the Louise Foucar Marshall Foundation in early 2019. Mary-Caitlyn has significant experience in research and academia, including a role as Grants Director at the University of Arizona, where direct oversight was provided for multiple grant programs. Research involvement includes serving as Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigator on various linguistics and ethnographic projects. Mary-Caitlyn earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Anthropology and Linguistics, as well as a Master of Arts in Linguistics, from the University of Arizona, following a Bachelor of Arts degree in Language, Culture and Society from The City University of New York.
