Senior Software Engineer at Universal Quantum

Dominik Mueller has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Dominik most recently worked at Universal Quantum as a Senior Software Engineer starting in May 2023. Before that, they worked at FREE NOW, where they held the positions of Senior Machine Learning Engineer from November 2021 to May 2023 and Machine Learning Engineer from January 2021 to November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at CERN, starting in October 2014. At CERN, they held the role of Applied Fellow and was involved in various projects within the LHCb collaboration at the Large Hadron Collider. Dominik'sresponsibilities included managing the LHCb simulation project, leading the development of the collaboration's Monte Carlo simulation framework, designing and implementing the framework for high-performance computing systems, and creating automatic testing algorithms. Dominik also trained and supported users of the framework and maintained and extended fast simulation options.

Dominik Mueller holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Elementary Particle Physics from The University of Manchester, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Elementary Particle Physics from The University of Göttingen, attending from 2012 to 2014. Dominik initially pursued their undergraduate studies at The University of Göttingen, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, Dominik Mueller has obtained certifications in SQL programming, including "Learning SQL Programming" and "SQL Essential Training" from LinkedIn, in November 2020.
