Jim Bacon

Jim Bacon is an experienced software director currently leading research and development at Universal Robots A/S since May 2022. Prior to this role, Jim was with Energid for nearly two decades, where responsibilities included product management and executive positions as controller and director, as well as partnership roles in developing service and research robotics. Jim's earlier career includes a tenure as CFO at Raytheon from February 1994 to February 2003 and significant engineering roles within Raytheon Missile Systems. Jim's academic background is rooted in aerospace engineering, having earned a degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1989 to 1994.
