Peter Dinh

Peter Dinh is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently working at Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of HII, since September 2020. In this role, Peter has contributed to power system components and electrical instrumentation and control for the SSN 774 Class and CVN 78 Class submarines. Additionally, Peter serves as a Planner for Universal Solutions International Inc., creating online newsletters and supporting events for local chapters of VFS and AUVSI. Previous experience includes an internship where Peter participated in vendor design meetings related to lithium-ion battery technologies and conducted research for various Army air platforms. Peter Dinh holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The George Washington University, expected in May 2025, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Old Dominion University, completed in May 2021.
