Jimmy Lai

Jimmy Lai is an experienced automotive professional currently serving as the Technical Team Leader at Universal Technical Institute, Inc. since February 2022, where responsibilities include establishing and managing new accounts with partners and suppliers. Previously, Jimmy co-founded and operated as COO at GSA Collision Center from January 2017 to January 2020, focusing on daily communication and compliance to enhance repair efficiency. With a background as Assistant General Manager at AGQ LLC, Jimmy oversaw employee management and coordinated transport appointments from March 2015 to January 2017. Additionally, as an owner/freelancer at Azautodirect, Jimmy developed repair estimates and conducted auto body repairs. An apprenticeship at El Monte Auto Paints initiated Jimmy's career in automotive bodywork, complemented by an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from Mt. San Antonio College.
