Josh is currently Vice President of Customer Support and Success at Universal Tennis, where they focus on talent acquisition and customer satisfaction. Additionally, Josh founded their own consultancy firm, Josh Vernon Consulting Group, in 2018. Before establishing their consultancy, Josh held the position of Head of Program Development at a Softbank-funded AI technology company. Josh also served as the Corporate Enterprise Training Manager at Caesars Entertainment Corporation, focusing on employee training.
Earlier in their career, Josh gained experience in training and development roles at Asurion and Apple. Josh also worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Josh Vernon Strength, and as a Neurology and Nuclear Medicine Tech at Med-Smart Inc.
Josh's career began as an Assistant Store Manager at Starbucks, where they gained early management experience. Throughout their professional journey, they have consistently demonstrated expertise in training, development, customer support, and leadership.
Josh Vernon attended UC Irvine, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Cellular Biology. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate of Executive Leadership from Cornell University. Josh further enhanced their skills by earning certifications such as Executive Leadership from eCornell in November 2015 and the Hubspot Sales Software Certificate from HubSpot in April 2017.
