Reynold Harbin

Head of Product Management at Universal Tennis

Reynold Harbin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Reynold started their career as an Assistant Tennis Coach at George Mason University in 1993. Reynold then moved to Accenture, where they worked as a Technology Manager, managing software development, design, and testing for various projects. After that, they joined Verizon Business as a Senior Manager of Professional Services, where they oversaw service delivery.

In 1999, Harbin joined Akamai Technologies, where they held multiple roles, including Director of Product Marketing and Management, Senior Director of Business Development, and Senior Product Line Director. Reynold was responsible for managing product lines, driving business development, and integrating acquired technologies into Akamai's portfolio.

In 2012, Harbin worked as a Consultant at Harbin Consulting, providing product strategy, development, and program management services to technology service companies. Reynold worked with clients such as Apple and Akamai.

In 2014, Harbin joined Neustar, Inc. as the Vice President of Product Management, where they contributed to the company's product strategy and management.

In 2016, they founded Sportler Technologies, LLC, where they developed a native iOS app and cloud service for tennis players to schedule their matches efficiently. Later on, the functionality of Sportler was incorporated into the Universal Tennis app.

From 2017 to 2019, Harbin worked at DigitalOcean as the Director of Product Marketing. Reynold worked closely with product managers and stakeholders to create product messaging and marketing artifacts for various services and successfully launched new developer services.

Finally, in 2019, they joined Universal Tennis as the Head of Product Management. Reynold oversees the product management of consumer and business services for players, coaches, and club owners. Reynold led the product management and launch of the Universal Tennis iOS app, which gained popularity among users.

Throughout their career, Harbin has demonstrated strong leadership skills, product management expertise, and a focus on developing user-friendly products and services.

Reynold Harbin earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Management Information Systems from George Mason University. Reynold attended from 1988 to 1992.
