Jorge Humberto Charry Endara

Jorge Humberto Charry Endara has over 25 years of experience in financial planning and internal auditing at Universidad de los Andes. As the Director de Auditoría Interna since January 1999, Jorge has been responsible for defining the Annual Audit Plan, overseeing the Transparency Line, advising units on control and regulatory matters, and directing internal audit processes. Previously, Jorge held the positions of Jefe de Presupuesto, where Jorge developed financial projections and coordinated internal budgets, and Profesional de Planeación, focusing on long-term financial planning and cost evaluations. Jorge also served as Jefe de Planeación Financiera in 1998, implementing a new long-term financial planning model and structuring the institutional budget. Educational qualifications include a degree in Aseguramiento y Control Interno from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a degree in Contador Público from Universidad Central (CO), among others.
