Shaun Patrick McGahan

Shaun Patrick McGahan currently serves as a Docente Técnico (Docencia e Investigación) at Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales - FACEN - UNA since March 2018, and as Director de Investigación at Universidad San Lorenzo since August 2019. Shaun holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Biotechnology (MSc en Biotecnología Industrial) from Universidad Nacional de Asunción, where studies were completed between 2017 and 2020. Additional educational achievements include a specialization in University Didactics from the Facultad de Arquitectura Diseño y Arte, a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, and various certifications in bioprocesses, biofuels, ecotoxicology, and applied biotechnology from esteemed institutions such as Universidad Nacional de Colombia and Universidade Estadual da Região Tocantina do Maranhão. In October 2023, Shaun participated in a course focused on genetics and genomics applied to aquaculture and fisheries at Universidad Nacional de Rosario. Additionally, Shaun completed a diploma in Innovation Management and Biotechnology Projects at Universidad Nacional de Asunción.
