Bekim Gashi is an accomplished academic with extensive teaching and research experience in the field of plant physiology. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Prishtina since October 2008, Gashi has also held positions as Assistant Professor, University Lecturer, and Teaching Assistant, focusing on Plant Physiology, Plant Stress Physiology, and Plant Tissue Culture. Gashi has participated in multiple staff exchange programs, including training in Carbon Sequestration at Fachhochschule Eberswalde and various teaching and mobility initiatives within the Erasmus+ framework at the University of Camerino. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Sciences in Plant Physiology from the University of Tirana, a Research Fellowship specializing in Plant Stress Physiology from Università degli Studi di Bari, and both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Prishtina.
