Julie Christie

Julie Christie has extensive experience in various roles within government and research organizations. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Universities Australia, Julie is responsible for providing high-level organizational and administrative support to the Chief Executive. Prior to this role, Julie held positions at CSIRO, Australian Research Council, and IP Australia, where Julie managed teams, provided secretariat for committees, implemented governance structures, and developed assessment systems. With a background in molecular biology and a PhD in Microbiology, Julie has also worked as a freelance editor and writer for scientific publications.
