Katherine Richard

Katherine Richard, CPA, M.Acc., currently serves as the Assistant Director of Accounting at Universities Canada, a position held since May 2021, having previously held the role of Accounting Manager. Prior experience includes a tenure at EY from September 2017 to May 2021 as a Senior Staff Accountant, and an Academic Coordinator position with the John Molson Competition Committee from May 2016 to May 2017. Katherine also worked as a Sales and Operation Analyst and Accounting Intern with LE CHÂTEAU in 2016, and held multiple roles at PwC from February to December 2015, including Business Development Intern and Tax HRS Co-op Intern. Earlier work experience includes a Summer Accommodations Clerk role at Concordia University and a Revenue Account Assistant position with the City of Ottawa. Katherine holds a Master’s of Accounting from Carleton University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Concordia University, along with a Diploma of Social Science - Commerce from CEGEP Heritage College.
