Mary MacKenzie McDermid

Mary MacKenzie McDermid is currently a Medical Student at St. George's University, expected to earn a Doctor of Medicine degree in May 2026. Since July 2022, Mary has been gaining valuable experience in the medical field, previously serving as a Medical Intern at UBMD Physicians' Group and a Research Assistant Intern at UB Neurology. Prior education includes a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Anthropology, and Classical Languages from Fordham University. Early work experience includes a sales role at DSW and an internship at the Hunter James Kelly Research Institute, focusing on Women's and Minority Business Enterprises. Mary graduated from the Buffalo Academy of the Sacred Heart in 2016.
