Angel Nolasco serves as the Structures Engineer Lead for the University of Texas Design Build Fly team, where responsibilities include designing and manufacturing aircraft fuselages using SolidWorks and leading a team in creating components for AIAA DBF competitions. Nolasco has also contributed to the design and aerodynamics of an airplane that placed 17th out of 99 teams. In addition, Nolasco mentors young students through the UT SEEK program, engaging them in engineering projects, and holds a position as an Aerodynamics Engineer with the Longhorn Rocketry Association, focusing on airflow simulation using Ansys. Prior experience includes a role as a Sales Associate at University Co-op and serving as the Integration Manager for the NASA Highschool Aerospace Scholar program, where research was conducted on lunar habitat design. Nolasco is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, following completion of high school at United High School.
