Benjamin Johnson

Benjamin Johnson is a seasoned atmospheric scientist with a robust academic and professional background. Currently serving as Project Scientist II at UCAR since January 2017, Benjamin manages the Community Radiative Transfer Model (CRTM) project. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Scientist at Atmospheric and Environmental Research from July 2015 to January 2017, and as a Research Assistant Professor and affiliate faculty in the UMBC Physics Department from October 2004 to July 2015. Benjamin's educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master of Science in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Purdue University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Oklahoma State University.
