Joshua Lam

Joshua Lam is a skilled software developer and engineer with extensive experience in both the airline and healthcare sectors. Currently employed at Hawaiian Airlines since September 2021, Joshua designs and manages ETL pipelines for critical operational data, alongside performing data analysis and reporting. Since August 2018, Joshua has also worked at University Health Partners of Hawai'i, focusing on big data projects involving electronic medical records and utilizing MSSQL and Microsoft Power BI for reporting systems. Joshua's earlier roles include teaching assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where instruction was given in digital design, and tutoring in various subjects at the Learning Assistance Center. Joshua's experience is complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, awarded in 2018, alongside a summer internship at Booz Allen Hamilton that involved agile software development. Joshua’s career began in customer service at Best Buy, providing a strong foundation for interpersonal skills.
