Balzhan Orazbayeva

Balzhan Orazbayeva is a seasoned professional specializing in university-business cooperation, social innovation, and higher education, currently serving as the Manager of Strategic Initiatives at the University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN) since September 2017. Orazbayeva leads the development and delivery of innovative training programs and consultancy services aimed at fostering entrepreneurial universities and collaborative innovation. With a diverse background that includes roles as Visiting Lecturer at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, Academic Researcher at the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre, and Doctoral Researcher at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Orazbayeva boasts extensive experience in research and consultancy in the fields of higher education and social entrepreneurship. Orazbayeva holds a PhD in Science, Business, and Innovation from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, a Master’s in Integrative Project Management from Technische Universität Dresden, and a Bachelor’s in International Relations and Affairs from Deutsch-Kasachische Universität.
