Joseph Schonacher, MPH, MSHA, currently serves as the Director of Physician Services and Clinic Operations Manager at University Medical Center New Orleans since April 2023. Prior experience includes management roles at St. Tammany Health System as Manager of the St. Tammany Physicians Network and as an Administrative Fellow from July 2021 to April 2023. An internship at Whitfield Regional Hospital involved preparing an executive summary for a financial partnership and assisting in a multimillion-dollar renovation loan application. Previous experience also includes working as a Student Associate at UAB Medicine, where project collaboration and process improvement initiatives were developed, and as Regional Marketing Director at eHealthcare Solutions, where marketing materials were rebranded. Joseph’s early career included a summer internship at the Cardiovascular Institute of the South, which involved presenting research and compliance coordination. Joseph holds a Master of Health Administration and a Master of Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
