Mike de Santiago

Mike De Santiago currently serves as the Coordinator of Risk Management at the University Medical Center of El Paso (UMC) since February 2022. Previously, Mike held the position of Patient Access Representative at Providence for a brief period in early 2022. Prior experience includes working as an Investigator for Child Protective Services at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services from April 2021 to January 2022, and a significant tenure at HCA from March 2016 to February 2021 as Chief Staffing Officer, Co-Ethics & Compliance Officer, and Director of Wound Care, Hyperbaric, and Patient Experience. Earlier roles also include serving as a Fitness Coordinator and Personal Trainer at HCA Healthcare from May 2002 to April 2012. Mike is pursuing a Master’s of Public Health at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix.
